Tickets are now available on the BBC website for the recordings of my new Radio 4 series about feminism – Bridget Christie Minds the Gap.
Apparently tickets go like hot cakes for all BBC recordings, so please get yours quickly.
They are free, so you have no excuse. For my misogynist fans, don’t worry, Fred MacAulay will be playing the part of “man”, so there will be a non-woman on stage with me that you can look at instead.
Also, as well as these nights, which are at the Radio Theatre (for details click on the link), I’m doing 2 try-out nights/read throughs at the Hen and Chickens. I’ll be doing episodes 1&2 on 3rd February at 9.30pm and episodes 3&4 on 27th Feb at 7.30pm.
These nights will be rough and ready and fun and difficult (book here).
So, you can either see the finished thing in a posh place, or the more exciting, dangerous thing in a room above a pub. I’m also doing lots of new material nights about the place, but don’t come to those.
ALTERNATIVE COMEDY EXPERIENCE – COMEDY CENTRAL
You can watch me in this if you like. – Here’s a Trailer
SOUTHBANK – WOMEN OF THE WORLD FESTIVAL
I’m doing a mixture of War Donkey and new stuff at the Southbank as part of their Women of the World Festival on Friday 8th March, not 9th. As soon as the link goes up for tickets, I’ll let you know.
PROGRESSIVE WOMEN FUNDRAISER GIG
Come to this! Some great people on the bill including Chris Coltrane and Lou Sanders. 29th January at the Comedy Pub, Oxendon St. From 7.30pm.
ITS NOT WHAT YOU KNOW
I’m doing this fun Radio 4 show, hosted by Miles Jupp, so I shall look forward to mocking him and all his class. This is also recorded at the Radio Theatre. I’ll put a link to it on the website when its out.
I bought a new waterproof jacket. It’s maroon and really warm. That’s it I think.
