NEWS – 10th January 2014

Dear Elves

I didn’t do a newsletter in December because I didn’t have anything to say, even on a very basic level.

A BIC FOR HER MARCH 11-19

Thanks ever so much for coming. The extended run sold out as well, so they’ve put another week on in March.

I hope this last week sells ok otherwise I’ll look like a right twit.

There will probably be some new stuff in it by March so if you’ve already been in, why not come again and try and spot them? You could even bring a whistle and blow it every time there’s a new bit. I’d be most obliged.

Also, I’ve been wearing different boots for this new run. Who knows what I’ll be wearing on my feet by March.

PHOENIX WINTER FESTIVAL – 1 FEB -7PM

I’m doing half an hour of new material at The Phoenix.

I’m splitting an hour with Kevin Eldon. I imagine it will be very much fun indeed.

New material nights are THE BEST. Come and see us struggle and humiliate ourselves.

Well, me, actually. Kevin will be, as always, fantastic.

SOUTH BANK SKY ARTS AWARDS

I’ll find out if I’ve won or not on the 27th January at the ceremony.

Up against Alpha Papa and Psychobitches. I think there is a meal as well.

I wonder if they will serve coffee as well? Mmmmm. Hope so. I love coffee.

I’ll probably have my regular one in the morning, and then another one at the ‘do’.

OTHER

My poor old guts still haven’t recovered from New Year’s Eve.

They’re not causing an embarrassment, they just don’t feel right at all.

For some reason all the drinks I drank were carbonated. I don’t think you’re supposed to drink gallons of carbonated drinks all in one go. I had spring water, coke, elderflower presse, prosecco, champagne, lemonade, prosecco, lime and soda, spring water, more prosecco, elderflower presse again, more prosecco, tonic water (with a bit of gin in it), spring water and then one more prosecco. That’s a lot of bubbles isn’t it? I’d say at least 76.

I don’t know how rich people manage all this carbonation, I really don’t.

They must have different guts to the rest of us. Lah-de-dah guts.
